We provide tools for hosts and creators to share their experiences, build collections, and connect with others who love to host beautifully. We are constantly improving the platform, so features and availability may change over time.
User accounts and responsibilities
To use certain features of hostiv, you may need to create an account. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity that occurs under your account. You must provide accurate and complete information when creating your profile, and you agree to update it if anything changes. You must be at least 13 years old to use hostiv.
Content ownership
You retain full ownership of any content you post on hostiv, including photos, descriptions, and guides. By sharing content on the platform, you grant hostiv a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to display, distribute, and promote your content within the service. This license helps us show your work to the community and feature exceptional experiences. You can remove your content at any time, though cached or archived copies may persist briefly.
Prohibited conduct
You may not use hostiv to spam, harass, or impersonate others. You may not post illegal content, hate speech, or anything that infringes on the rights of others. You may not attempt to disrupt the platform, scrape data without permission, or use automated tools to create fake accounts. We reserve the right to remove content and suspend accounts that violate these rules.
Intellectual property
The hostiv name, logo, and all related branding and design elements are the property of hostiv and may not be used without our permission. The platform's software, features, and underlying technology are protected by intellectual property laws. You agree not to copy, modify, or create derivative works based on the hostiv platform without authorization.
Termination of accounts
You may delete your account at any time by contacting us or using the account settings in the app. We may also suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms, abuse the platform, or engage in behavior that harms the community. Upon termination, your right to use hostiv ceases immediately, though certain provisions of these terms will survive.
Disclaimers and limitation of liability
hostiv is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do our best to keep the platform running smoothly, but we cannot guarantee it will always be available, error-free, or secure. To the fullest extent permitted by law, hostiv shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform.
Changes to terms
